Job Description

Facilitates sales of the company's products and services throughout the United States in a specified territory. Cultivates strong working relationships with national, regional and local organizations in the student transportation, mass transit, fleet/driver behavior with AI, locomotive and waste management industries. Initiates contact and pursues leads for immediate and ongoing opportunities for the sale of mobile video surveillance systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for contributing to business development for AngelTrax
  • Attains new sales leads and secures new business in a timely manner
  • Initiates frequent customer contact, makes independent sales calls and directs sales negotiations to maximize sales revenue and profitability
  • Maintains relationships with customers by providing support, information and guidance
  • Travels frequently to customer sites for sales meetings, customer support and customer training on the use of proprietary software and product systems
  • Travels frequently to participate in industry trade shows and conventions
  • Remains up to date on competitive technologies and competitor activity in multiple transportation industries
  • Maintains a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with existing and potential customers and coworkers
  • Takes a proactive approach to sales development and problem solving
  • Extensive Monday - Friday weekly travel visiting School Districts and Transit Agencies (1,200 - 1,400 miles average per week)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Outside sales experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be used with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective presentations to existing and potential customers
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, resolve problems, negotiate and manage time
  • High level of financial and business acumen
  • Proven success in establishing and meeting sales goals
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and the Internet

Experience Preferred

  • Mobile Video Surveillance Sales: 2 years
  • Sales: 2 years
  • School Bus/Transportation Industry: 2 years
