TIPS Cooperative Purchasing Program
TIPS, a governmental entity and a national purchasing cooperative, seeks to provide a valuable and necessary solution to public entities and qualifying non-profits by performing the public procurement solicitation process and awarding compliant contracts to qualified vendors.
Where the law of a customer's jurisdiction allows, the use of TIPS allows public entities to quickly select and purchase their preferred products or services from qualified, competitively evaluated vendors through cooperative purchasing.
Piggyback Contract
Public entities and qualifying non-profits that properly join or utilize TIPS, called TIPS Members, may elect to piggyback off of TIPS procurements and agreements where the laws of their jurisdiction allow.
TIPS Members are not contractual parties to this Agreement although terms and conditions of this Agreement may ensure benefits to TIPS Members.
