Marketing Assistant

AngelTrax is seeking a marketing assistant to work closely with all members of our marketing team, under the direction of the marketing director, in developing and implementing marketing plans, projects and materials to promote and protect the image of the company. To be chosen for this role, you must have a high skill level in business communication and a high level of attention to detail, including proofreading text and writing for a variety of business and marketing documents and materials. You must have an associate degree or bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field. Prior work experience in administrative position(s), sales or marketing is a plus. Prior experience in Adobe InDesign or similar layout software is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Follow direction of marketing director in daily tasks
  • Provide administrative support and content for marketing director, creative director and other members of marketing department as needed to complete projects and accomplish department goals
  • Communicate professionally with vendors and all corporate team members
  • Create and manage content and files for marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, e-blasts, white papers, case studies and presentations
  • Assist with project management
  • Communicate with in-house SMEs in maintaining technical product details
  • Create and maintain technical documents such as technical specifications, manuals and required documentation for compliance
  • Operate digital printing press, binder and cutter to produce marketing materials
  • Organize print materials and giveaways for the marketing department
  • Purchase and organize items purchased for employees and marketing functions
  • Learn and work with various types of software to edit, update and develop forms and materials to be used by all departments as needed
  • Edit Constant Contact templates and contact lists and send e-blasts
  • Assist in corporate event planning and execution as needed
  • Utilize Microsoft Planner for project updates
  • Create and/or maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for marketing functions
  • Prepare, format and edit a range of documents using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign
  • Understand company's products, brands and industry
  • Create and interpret a variety of reports
  • Organize digital and printed files for greatest operational efficiency
  • Analyze questionnaires and other forms of feedback
  • Update social media accounts when directed
  • Prepare gifts, materials and conference rooms for employee gatherings and corporate visitors
  • Organize and ship informational packets and gifts for sales executives and customers
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality as directed
  • General office duties
Experience/Skills Required
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Related job and/or internship experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills in grammar, spelling and capitalization
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain compliance with AP Style and/or similar stylebooks
  • Experience using Adobe Suite and Constant Contact
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficient organization skills
  • Familiarity with SEO writing and utilizing AI prompts
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

Full-time, on-site (no remote work or travel)
