Responsibilities

  • Work with professional individuals on products specific to the transportation industry for school buses, mass transit trains and buses, law enforcement vehicles, and locomotives
  • Report to Technical Support Manager
  • Perform rigorous testing on existing products and product samples
  • Actively participate in new product development process with manufacturing partners and internal departments in research and development and in quality control
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for documentation of all changes during each product’s lifespan, from initial concept to end of life
  • Communicate in a timely and professional manner with other internal departments regarding product changes
  • Assist Technical Support Specialists by responding to customer calls and emails
  • Troubleshoot issues with products and software
  • Assist with customer returns
  • Communicate effectively with customers to diagnose the problem in a timely manner
  • Communicate with other internal departments to handle the customer's technical needs
  • Be self-motivated, punctual, professional and dependable

Experience/Skills Required

  • Must have strong technical background in computers and electronics
  • Must have experience troubleshooting computers and electronics
  • Must be organized
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience/Skills Preferred

  • Technical Support Help Desk with IT experience

Job Type

Full-time, salary, on-site (no remote work or travel)

Schedule

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8AM to 5PM
